I need a good Vocal Mic....

Hi all,

Can someone recommend a good vocal mic in the $1000 to $1500 range. I will be using either an avalon V737 pre or and earthworks pre amp.

those are pretty different sounding preamps. that are going to want pretty different mics. it all depends on the voice etc.... you are spending enough money that you should be listening to the mics... etc....

but OK all these questions are pretty silly.
