I made this song and could use some tips, I don't know how to mix and master.

First thing, you need to work on singing on key. It was almost hard to say what the melody was supposed to be. The quality of the organ and the sound quality of the vocal is fine.

Rich mentions the singing out of tune bit, but it goes so low that your range cannot actually hit those notes. Musically, the melody is quite random and doesn't follow the chords in any usual way - the chord progression and your voice don't seem to be linked? I'm assuming you played the organ? Not being unkind here - but one session with a real singing teacher would sort out some of your issues - which of course, you might not be aware of, depending on your aural acuity. A posh term for hearing a note with a pitch and being able to identify it, and sing it back. Sometimes, the teacher sorts it straight away with some practical advice and sometimes they can't. I suspect you don't know which version you are, so before you waste time and energy, find out from a local expert. They might be able to teach you to sing, they might not?

My alarm bell rang a bit when you said you 'made' the track, not recorded or played and sung on it? Did the organ chords come from some kind of software? That might be why you struggled?

I want opinions from songwriters/ producers.
i made everything here but want to improve
I don't know if that was the best that you have, if it is I commend you for asking for opinions. However, this site is for learning. Not so much for opinions. Not school learning. More like dictionary learning, where you need to already have a good idea of what you are looking for. Improvement is never taught. You learn improvement over and over as you repeat.

Nothing wrong with opinions. Opinions are basically conclusions reached from observation.

There are quite a few people here whose ‘Opinions’ are quite valid.

Let’s not discount or diminish them.

Lots of meandering both in both timing and pitch. I would have liked to hear the vocal over a steady beat (even a metronome) than over the organ. Some of the most moving songs are performed without accompaniment.

Other peoples opinions always matter, because strangers don’t know you. Friends and family often lie with best intentions often to encourage. Real teachers can assess and decide if putting in effort will work. I was convinced I could learn to fly. 3 instructors all said the same thing. I do not have a hope because spacial awareness and coordination are poor. I realise they were all right, it was me who is wrong. In my teacher training it was stressed that false hope is bad and expectations often exceed ability. Integrity is important. Guidance could then work better? How many famous record producers came from average or poor singers or players.? Quite a few!

I remember in early grade school, the nuns would teach us singing. Hit a note on the piano, and you had to sing it. We practiced scales: Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do! We would learn to sing songs for church services. I remember they would gesture with their hands to follow the change in pitch.

Do they teach that in school anymore?

Sadly, I do not think they do! I remember really struggling with one student. All my attempt to improve her pitching had failed. My colleague suggested that I should stop the singing and use a 12 string guitar. use the two identical top E strings. detune one to C. then get the student to bring the C back to pitch. It was interesting. As they approached you start to get the beating, that decreases as you approach unison. She could not hear it and went past the unison point every time. He told me this was a test an old teacher used when people had pitch issues. Most could detect the beating and learn tuning based on the weird combining sound. The ones who could not pass this little test were the truly tonne deaf ones and few would be able to sing in tune.

Maybe tuning a guitar without a tuner (like we had to do) is a good test? We've all got so used to tuners, maybe we missed the manual method sort of training our ears. Fingers crossed user user is in the can learn it camp?
