The wife wanted to sell some of her old jewelry at this shop here in town and instead of cash, she brought this home instead. It's a Breedlove AD200/SM. This thing plays like butta.

Wow, you are one lucky dude! I hope you're going to do somethng nice for her.

Hey, her wedding ring wasn't among the stuff she sold, was it? :D

I'd have to have bought my wife jewelry in the first place, for her to sell it to get me a guitar. She also knows better than to pick out a guitar for me, because she would do it solely based on color. I don't need a sparkly pink guitar.

She's definately one in a million. The value of the trade was about $150. Granted this isn't their high end Breeedlove but I'd bet it's worth a little more than $150. I think I'll do the dishs tonight when I get home.

Hey Mike ..... if I come over and help with the dishes (maybe a little vacuuming) do you think there just might be a microphone in it for me?

I'll wash, you dry. And then there's the yard..................

Breedloves are great guitars. I've had one for the past three years (AD20/SR Plus) that the first time I picked it up and played it reminded me of back in my high school days when an acquaintance allowed me the privilege of playing his 1969 Martin D-35. That was the last year they were made from Brazilian Rosewood -- they had to switch to Indian Rosewood the next year because of the CITES treaty.
Breedloves have a "wow" factor that no other guitar has. Everyone I've ever known who's played one wants to own one. I've even had a few Taylor players who've offered to trade me their Taylors plus cash and I say "Nothin' doin'!"

Don't get me wrong, I love my Taylor. It's a Grand Audtorium sized and a completely different color sonicly speaking. I have a D-41 too and it sounds nothing like the Breadlove. The Breadlove is darker sounding, kind of throaty, ya know what I mean? I did a little setup on it and this guitar has amasing action. Haven't recorded it yet. Maybe this weekend.

I've two Breedloves, a 6 and a 12 string. Kinda discovered them by accident but would certainly buy another if the need arose. Really fantastic, underrated guitars. My cedar Passport is the perfect balance between dark and bright, you can strum it, pick it, whatever. Also has a super-low action and it probably gets more air-time than my Martin. You've got yourself a good woman there man! :)

Ain't really been winter here. Not like last year for sure. Matter of fact, We're under tornado warnings right now. I heard tree frogs last night already!
