funny thing is though, i'm not using it direct

i hooked it up to my stereo, and i'm just miking it. i tried to get a good sound direct, but it sounded like crap direct into my audiobuddy.

now i really want a power engine or a PA system so i could crank this baby don't want to break my stereo or anything...

Did you try running directly from the SansAmp into your recording interface (whatever it may be) and skipping the audiobuddy altogether?
