I know you can record vocals excellently with an SM58...but how ??? <link>?

Most of his songs are done with an sm58 mic plus in his open room. Not in any fancy vocal booth/ closet etc.
How does he get his vocals so clean??? No point in messaging because i sent one 3 weeks ago and no reply. Hes too damn popular to answer anyway.

I bought a second hand fast track pro but still cant get the same results even though the recording is slightly better.
Im i doing something wrong?
This is how my mic is routed:

mic -> dmp3 -> fast track pro -> line in

Is it how it is mixed or am i missing someother equipment which i dont know about.

The first video is NOT footage of the actual recording. It's a different session entirely. You can tell that the female vocalist's phrasing is out of sync with the video, and her mic technique in the video is too sloppy for that session to have been the source of the audio track.

The vocal on the second video isn't very good at all. Not terrible, but not impressive.

And OP, seriously doubt that was recorded on a 58.
