So I have rewritten this very simple song that I could probably come up with music for.

Thoughts?

I will most likely ditch the bridge and just have the two short verses and the chorus. I just want to be able to actually finish something. I've written tons of songs, but I have never actually recorded one because I'm still a newb at music theory and guitar. So I have trouble coming up with music. Anyway check this out

VERSE 1
Leaves changing colors your colors

Fall is upon us and leaves rain
from the trees
No tears rain from my eyes as you fall

CHORUS

and some yet invented

I relate to wanting something completed. I just crossed that hurdle last year ('03) and it really opened my eyes to alot of things I was doing...errr....wrong lyrically.

It was also much easier to do the 2nd and 3rd etc after getting that first one "finished"

FYI

finished = "dead horses feel no pain"

or for the animal-friendly...

finished = "Ok, I learned alot from that, now I'm gonna use it to make the next one better"

unfortunately, dissecting my music has ruined it for me heheheheh
 
Yep - I agree. Don't think you need to go borrowing talent. Only thing I'd say is the fret / form reference is a little weak - fret means something else to most non muso's. Presumably the word "not" belongs in front of the "yet invented".

Kinky sex references in songs are always good:D
