Hello learned friends!

Yep, it's me again. So I got the Asio4All driver for the Behringer uca202. Putting guitar through a pedal through the behringer into a vista laptop with emagic logic hit kit's (hey, I can hear you s******ing!) suggested optimum settings. All computer settings are defaulting to the Behringer.

But why, oh why is there so much latency?

I've been trying to get two tracks that sound good played back on my computer for a year now and I'll succeed or die trying or something. Anyone got the patience to help a twit like me?

Thanks

all I can say is - when I used the Asio4ALL driver with my Alesis multi mix - latency was also a nightmare.

I upgraded to the fast track pro - which replaces your internal soundcard (I don't think my alesis did) and latency isn't an issue anymore.

I'm thinking the Behringer replaces my internal sound card. Is that right? The thing is, I'd have to save up for the Fast Track Pro (which looks like a lovely thing, to be sure).

Is there any way of making my current set-up work? I'm reading everything I can but have now changed so many settings, it's setting-mayhem in my living room at the minute. Just as a measure of how seriously I'm taking this, I have not consumed any chocolate tonight.

Yeah, it's that serious people.

I agree, anyone who can't get someone to come on their computer and has no chocolate is having serious problems.

Hope it gets resolved quickly. :)
