I just cant sing?

Im really considering quitting, I can hit the right notes but when combined together it doesn't sound good at all?
I would really like to get better, but theres no singing lessons in my area.
Is there any advice that can help me improve? Thanks

When I started recording, I came to realise how lame my singing style sounded. So, I kept at it and tried singing in various ways until I came upon a way that didn't totally suck. I wouldn't claim that my singing sounds good per se, but I can work it into the mix for a result that I'm happy with. I certainly wouldn't be expecting to record a version of Hallelujah to rival Jeff Buckley, but I can create something I'm reasonably proud of.

Keep practising, keep recording your voice, listening back and making improvements. You say you can hit the notes, so you're already most of the way there.

In the first recordings I ever did I realized that my voice sounded great on 1 track but not on the other 2. So I went out in search of why I could sing one song well but not the other 2 and it lead me to sing in choir and to take voice lessons. I don't know if your a male or female but for males it seems pretty simple, just raise your soft palate. Pretend that there is a lemon or round object in the back of your throat. Another way is when you yawn the peak of your yawn is when your soft palate is the most open. After a while of using this technique it becomes almost impossible to not use it.

Everyone can sing. You just need to find out how to make your natural voice work for you.
