you should have asked which monitors "do you recomend" before buying those. I would return them and buy something else. You bought them because money is tight and berhinger monitors look like a great bang for the buck and the ads state that they are a hot item. take this from some one who owns the B2031A. wiast of money

wrong forum....you can't rack monitors

Though you could rack the power amp. For those particular monitors I'd go with the cheapest power amp I could find, anything expensive powering them would be a waste of money. Do yourself a favour and track down some replacement tweeters...they have a habbit of blowing pretty easily in those Behringers

umm yea i am gettin a cheap power amp, i just need something better than computer speakers i dont need nothing to blow my house down. You get me?

Don't worry. Those monitors will never blow your house down. They might catch fire and burn it down though. These people are serious about you cancelling your order. Those are crap monitors and many many people here have been burned by them already. You were warned.

Want to get something to drive them ? Don't buy crappy gear. I am telling you that you WILL be replacing those monitors in about a year. I would suggest getting a cheap QSC amp or a used Crown DC300A or hafler DH-220 or Hafler DH200. Don't get a Samson or something like that. Mackie makes good power amps and if you don't abuse them they will last.

But really. Ditch the monitors before you even unbox them. It will make returning them easier.

Well, although the monitors weren't a great choice, maybe look at this to power them:

I gave an American Musical link because they aren't available everywhere (no longer made). I own one and use it to power my Tannoy Reveal passives - great combo IMO. It's a great low noise, clean amp. You can do a search around here for some input on that.

As far as blowing your house down, well, the Halfer won't do that. It may blow the monitors, but not your house.

ugh.. don't get me started on my bad experiences with behringer PA equipment. Everyone buys them because they are CHEAP.. but in the end you get what you pay for. now everyone is running around with little DJ setups that sound not so great and hold up even worse.

bash bash bash. GUYS THAT ARE SO OPINIONATED BUT NEVER USED OR BOUGHT THOSE MONITORS. those behringers have been in my studio for 3 years and procuce great mixs. they translate well and i like to call them very similar to the mackies but you get to keep some dough in your wallet. what you dont get with behringer is much help if it breaks but at that price who cares.i have logged many hours on them and never had a fire. there are issues with any gear but to bash the person is this really productive?

well im goin to keep the monitors and get a nice power amp, hopefully i should be good :D thanks for the info fellas!
