I have no option to record in Multitracking.Any ideas on what he problem is?

do you have an interface that would allow you to? if so, did you set it up?

I think you need to explain more - what version of the program are you using? - are you in multitrack view (press F12)? - are buttons greyed out or do they not work? - is options > device properties correctly set up? - have you correctly set the windows mixer? And so on. Tell us exactly what you are doing, and what does or does not happen.
