Does anyone know where I can find the MXL 603 Mic on its own? Every time I look them up on the net I get it in a package with an MXL2001(I believe it is.)

Man your input has helped a GREAT DEAL! I dont know how to thank you just yet on this machine. But I can assure you that I'll pass on my wisdom just the same.
Thank You very very much!:D

Hey Alan!!I'm really twitching now for a TB-1,I got it bad.I'm itching to buy a new mic,I've been very patient though trying to wait it out.I almost bit on one of the Groove Tube mics they are blowing out and then again on a Nady tube mic that Musicians Friend has for $199.I held off though because I have a feeling the TB-1 will be a nicer mic for me.I wish I could just buy one direct from you and get the show on the road.Everyday I check 8th Street to see if they are in yet but no go.I really hope next week is the week as I haven't bought anything in a while and my credit cards have been whispering to me to buy something now!I'm afraid that if the wait is much longer I'll end up spending more on something else when what I really want is a TB-1.Hopefully within two weeks I'll have the TB-1 and I'll be able to tell you what I think of it instead of bugging you about when I'm going to actually see one.I hope so.Be a bummer if I waited this long and ended up with something else.

You gotta gag those credit cards, Randy! Don't let 'em whisper to you like that, or your wife will take them away. Of course, my ventriloquist dummy blackmails me, so I may not be the one to talk.

Kent,I'm not married so the cards voice is the only one I hear.I tried locking them in a drawer but late at night I could hear them whispering to me;"C'mon big boy..use me...mmm....low rates..That mic you want could be yours..use me..use me hard!":D

When I was married the cards would never talk to me,it was my wife that they talked to!!:D

"C'mon, let me out of here! There are bodies in the la-ake!"

He has them on order...I just checked, and he will have them, so get the card ready! :D

The card is all warmed up and ready and anxious to go to work Alan! It's such a hard working little dude...:D

I guess I'm the only one on this list that uses AKG's and Oktava's. If I had to use one mic for $300, I'd choose AKG C3000B. Mid-size diaphagm has the accuracy for clossic guitar and better off axis response than any large diaphragm condenser I've heard in that price range.- good luck- Richie
