again rami, i have to say how jealous i am of your drum sound and writing abilities. cool song and awesome drums as usual. i personally like the mellow-ish bass sound. on my end, i have no problem hearing seperation between the bass and kick. a punchier bass may take away from the smooth bottom end. i think the main vocals could be a little more up front too. and maybe wet em down with more reverb or delay. just my 2 cents. overall though, another fantastic job. i like it a lot. :)
Thanx alot greg, I really appreciate that. I personally don't kind the bass either, but always take into account what others say and try to hear why they're saying it. I did change a bass part since first posting this, but didn't touch the EQ on it. Thanx alot, bud. :)

Is that right or did you just start from scratch and your a genious like einstein? :D
Wel...both.....I'm a genius like Einstein but the mics were placed already...:p:p:p

Seriously, though. Yes, I don't take the mics down every time I finish a tune and then put them all back up again from scratch for my next tune. So, I do have my set-up pretty much ready to go at any time. However, I'm always trying to find new ways to do things to get a better sound. The ONLY thing that' doesn't change is my micing set up. But I don't have a template that I just go to for every song as far as EQ'ing, and effects, etc....I start every song from scratch when it comes to everything else. The Eq will depend on the rest of the parts, etc.....So will the reverb, panning, volume...
Thanx for the comments, Breeeeeeeeza. :)

Rami:

Congratulations , one more killer song!!!!!!

Unfair situation is listen your new song without drink something...

Well, after 4 long neck beers ( 2 Skol, 1 Brahma and 1 Milller) :D :D :D :D , I can comment:

Very good song, well mixed....
I´m definitelly not the best guy to talk about the way you can improve something on your recordings...
because I hear your songs on the same way I hear some classical 70`songs...
If they´re perfect on "technical" side? I dont know...
But,if it sounds good (as some led zeppelin, sabbaths, purple, alice Cooper, only to give some examples), are OK!

Your recordings are on same level, sounds almost ever like perfect, at least to my ears.
A little citiicize?

Tuning on "bend solo guitar" on beggining....
After it, all sounds very good and "classic"...
Another "point"?

I´m tired to listen "Canadian" Celine Dion songs on (Brazilian MTV).
When I will listen Rami´s songs here? :D :D

CIRO, thanx alot for the kind words....I wasn't sure what you were refering to about the out of tune bend in the intro, but now I hear it. It's pretty obvious now that you mention it. Anyway, I don't think I'll re-track just for that, but you're 100% right.

Yes, I pride myself on imperfection...:p:p:p

Hey, poor you...Here in Canada I NEVER hear any Celine Dion, so it's nice to know others are suffering more than we are. Sorry about that. :D

Thanx for the comments, buddy.

RAMIs got a drinking problem lol all of his mixes are when hes drunk lol orrr at least two of them. Ill listen to the mix in a second.

Sounds good to me, nice guitars very Aerosmith.

Great recording.

Only suggestion I have is having double vox on "hold on thight were flying into the storm", maybe that would be cool :o

Cool harmonies btw.

yep you`ve done it again :)

I dont have time to listen to it now but what i can remember from earlyer is that the tone you got from the guitar is very good and that i liked the overall song in genrual. Very good song again. Well done as allways!!

Thanx Nak...We're on the same wavelength because I was thinking of doubling that very line every time. But I found that when I sang that line and then overlapped it with the verse that comes in, the impact of the verse coming in was weak in comparison. But you be right, I 'm with you.

I figured out what you need! A piano! You have a "Maroon 5ish" sound and the piano would fit pretty cool. I dunno that's just me.

Thanx. I will NEVER put a keyboard in any of my muisc. EVER. No keyboards, samples, loops or drum machines. I'm not dissing your opinion, I respect it. But that's a decision I made along time ago. I might maybe make an exception for a real piano or organ if it ever calls for one. But I can't see that happening. :D

amen to that.

Excellent performance. I agree with Nakatira that it's got an Aerosmith feel to the guitars. Maybe reduce the guitars just a little in the low mids for clarity in the mix.

RAMI, you´re on "Queen 70´s no keyboard style"...

They Start 80´s with "Hot Space" album ... bad idea! (do you remember)?

"Another one bites" is on "the Game" album, I was making some confusion with dates...

1982 is the correct year of "Hot Space". (includes "Under Pressure", with David Bowie) . Need I say more? :D :D :D

You're right about that. I do remember reading on a Queen album cover that "no synthesizers were used"...etc....and thinking that was very cool.
