Would either of these setups work?
Fostex E2 reel to reel > analog mixer (Mackie, etc..) > CD recorder or Compact FLash recorder (anything I could take to my computer for recording to CD)
With the above equipment would I be able to do this:
analog mixer > CD recorder or harddisk recorder, etc.. anything to mix down to.
My question basically is would an analog mixer allow me to get the right *mix* to go to harddrive or CF card recorder or CD recorder?
I'm a little confused as you can see, I am of the breed from multi-track recorders, where everything is built into one thing. I'm trying to get away from that.
