I have a fostex Personal a series Reel to reel 8 track recorder...

I'd say Reels' estimate is correct. I snagged one from E-bay for $100.00. It wasn't in new cond. , but worked fine after a good cleaning. It's not exactly a "sought after" model. If you got it for a good price or free, it's still a good recorder that you can do some decent stuff with. Good luck with it and have fun!!
