Sounds good, very Bohann kinda, good tons on intro ... I like that.
Guitar sounds "buzzy",with "fret issues" (sorry, don´t know translate well...),and like playing with a high action...But general sonds agreable, and with the video (cave), I could understand you perfecly.

Great!

Now that I hear the second version, I'd say you can probably afford to tune them up a bit more....But I can hear them better and they sound pretty good. Are they single headed toms????

Work on that rimshot - strike the snare so that the tip/shoulder hits the head at the same time the body of the stick hits the rim. Every time.

That's going to give you the full-bodied "crack" sound you're looking for, and distributes the energy from your strike more evenly across the drum's surface. You'll have less broken/dented heads that way.

Definitely replace the stock heads with some good ones. Yes, the bottom heads, too. What kind all depends on your taste.

Drums are awesome, eh?

Thanks guys.... :D

Double headed toms. Single ply Attack heads. I didn't tune the bottom heads on the toms up yet. Try and make them the same as the top?

Casey, thanks for the striking tips. I can tell by the dents in my sticks how badly I miss right now.... It is a blast though. :D

Ciro, The guitar does buzz a bit when I play hard....action is pretty low, but I think it is me not fretting it well. I play it like an electric, and that's probably not good.... :D

I like to tune my reso heads to the same pitch as the batter, but its all personal preference. Many go a little tighter or looser on the reso head. I try to find the natural resonant frequency of the drum (when it 'rings' the most) with just the batter head making sure the pitch is the same at each lug. Then I'll install and tune the reso head the same way with the batter tuned. This works for any 2-headed drum and will get you very close to the drums natural sound. You can fine tune to taste from there. Just do an internet search on drum tuning and you'll find probably a million ways to do it. The way I just described is just my simple, basic way. I'm a simple, basic drummer, so I tune my shit simple and basic. :p

Hey guys...thanks. Rami mentioned I might need to compress the drums since I only have 2 mics right now, so I did, and it did make them sound more full.

Remix

If anyone's interested, have another listen. I have some closed back headphones on the way, so hopefully next time I can play to a click..... :o

Casey, how hard can you whack drums? I've got a few small dings in the tom heads, but the snare is pretty clean. I didn't want to beat on them too hard if I'm not supposed to, but if I can whack em harder, I sure will. :D
Sounds pretty good Dogman, the overheads are picking up everything, except maybe the kick could be hotter but it's not mic'd... You're a fast learner and you write good drum patterns.....
