I got a wonderful phone call today....

A guy called up and asked me how much a refret would be. I asked him if it was bound, or not. He demured, not having a clue what I'm talking about (which is fine - you don't need to understand them to play them), but we finally determined that it was in fact unbound. So I said to him, "about $350, depending on a bunch of factors." He said something like, "that much?" So I said, "Well, it's a lot of work." At which point he said, "oh," and then mumbled under his breath,












"maybe I can put these thing back in."





It was all I could do not to laugh out loud whiile he was still on the phone, but I laughed for hours after I hung up.

I've had some strange phone calls in my time, but that is a good one.:D

The worst part is, the neck probably *was* bound until this Nimrod de-fretted it! Thanks for the laugh-Richie
