Some come with a notch in the part that goes over the tuner for pulling the bridge pins out of an acoustic. Very useful.

Yeppers, this one has the notch and glad you mentioned it or I would have been asking later what the little notch was for

Be careful with the winder - it's easy to get carried away.
I'll show you about IDIOT - I used one on a classical acoustic & it ripped the knob off leaving me with a real dilemma.

I can only imagine how fast you wind all the strings

Sorry to hear about the knob. After I found out here what the winder was I was thinking of fixing it so it would work in a drill

I don't think I'd use a drill. At least not without plenty of experience first. It spins a bit fast and something tells me that putting that much tension on a string that fast isn't conducive to having a good string.

Oh another note, I love locking tuners. No string winding.
