Man... This sounds great. Thick and creamy. My only nit is that this seems to be mastered at quite a high level. Seems a bit overdriven for a love song, is all. Other than that, - holy cow... I love it. Honored to be part of this project.

Thanks man, you'll be glad to hear that the drums are always highly complimented whenever I play these tunes for people :D It's less than the rockers - Jan can maybe chime in on what he's running it through. There's a definite "classic drive" to it that I can't get with Sonar. :-) .

It's a love song I'd've played loud anyway.
Yes, thick'n'creamy. Lush without being crowded or overblown.
You know how much I enjoy your noodling & this arrangement satisifies my soul.
excellent revist Gerry & excellent work from Jan.
PI, your drums really do lift this song into the domain in which it belongs.

i really love that song, so i had to convince gerald to not replace that epic lead guitar but let me cut it a bit instead to not overload the song.
PI, your drum playing is really nice. soundwise i'm using multiband dynamics quite often on your drums. mostly i expand the bassdrum a bit to lower the decay & tame the cymbals a bit. then i'm applying a bit EQing & thats it. feel free to contact me by email if you have questions.

I heard the other version which was much more mellow sounding. I think I like it more mellow. This one sounds a little hot to my ears, not sure that's a good way to explain it lol. It still sounds real good anyway, not knocking it at all. Good werk :D
