Yeah, I know... very lame... very ashamed of myself :)

The problem is that I have been recording connecting my preamp to the mic in of my sound card, becouse the line was damaged, I don't know what was with it, but everything I plugged in there, wouldn't sound...so I got a new card, and I plugged my preamp to the line in, and bingo!! I was hearing my guitar over my PC's speakers, buuutt.. at the time of recording it was preseto still to record from the mic in, so... I don't know how to make it record from the line in... by the way, the sound card I'm using is a sound blaster...

Any help welcome!!

In the systray there is an icon of a speaker that is a little mixer for your sound card. Click on it and goto properties, select recording. There is a box with items like "CD", "Microphone", "Line", "Auxillary", etc... Make sure you have at least the "Line" checked. Then click ok. A mixer should appear. At the bottom select the box under the line fader. You should be able to record on the line in jack.

I hope this helps

Thanks a lot man, that was it!!
OH it was soooo stupid hehehe... I was there before, becouse I read some similar post about this, but I'm always in such a rush that I didn't read what was that little box for, I though I would be like in the playback mode, for mute...

Thanks a lot!! now I can start making better recordings...
