I can SEE, I CAN SEE. I just got one of these in: http://cgi.ebay.com/Wireless-Water-...095000250QQcategoryZ48636QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Gonna set up a old color commadore video monitor in the front right corner of my control room on a folding TV tray. So I will be able to see every body that I am tracking! Whooo Hoooo. For those not in the know, I have converted a upstairs bedroom to my control room, and downstairs my home theater and home theater lobby are my tracking rooms. Its dark down there, well the lobby is well lit, but the theater has a black ceiling, and dark gray walls, with only 4 wall lights that shine at the ceiling (perfect for a theater, not so good for a tracking room) but that is what the infrared leds are for, lights up the room so I can see. Even has a built in mic, so I can plug the audio output of the receiver into my monitor controller, and have a back up audio feed from down there to up here. The picture of the ebay auction doesn't show one I received because mine comes with an audio out, but it is the one I bought so hay I got an upgraded one. :p

Its working. You can sort'a make out a Studio Projects pop filter there, mic is covered with a Audio Technica velvet cover, and the back of a music stand is there...wall lights are off as they wash out the TV screen a little to much for trying to take a picture of it. I am not sure on final placement of the "spy" camera yet, might set up something on a post in the second row of home theater seating that can be taken down easily.

Hehe, that is excellent man-- You got a pretty good deal there, and the picture isn't half bad either!

Send us some music videos made on your night vision camera of your customers overdubbed with the mastered recordings :)

and if you paint the walls all stripey, they could all be Max Headroom....

(musta been an audio engineer who came up with that name.)

ha ha! Just noticed that your cinematography seems to have won you an oscar, SRR! :p
