I can not hear any sounds from my computer except from within flstudio

lately Ive installed an additional sound card that has midi port.
so I could attach my midi-keyboard to my xp-computer.
and so I record midis with a midi software (flstudio).
due to latency between keyboard and computer I downloaded also asio4all software that didnt help much
anyway in the last few weeks since Ive done all that
I can not hear any sounds from my computer except from within flstudio.

Go into the Control Panel and disable your stock sound card and enable the one you bought (PCI? USB? FW?) so that it's the only thing showing when you bring up the Sounds and Audio tab on the Control Panel.

Go to the manufacturers web site and download the latest driver for your sound card, then go to 'Add Hardware' and install it that way.

That should fix your problem.
