I can hear my mouse move in the headphones. Electric static sounds and noise.

My system seems all messed up. I can hear the mouse move with static crackling sounds in my headphones when I'm tracking. Seems like there's just way more electric noise than usual. Not really hiss but just electric crackle. Nothing new had been added in the hardware. Any ideas of things that could be screwing up my system or things to try to get back to sweet silence?

Is it there when you listen to your recording as well? (i.e. does you system record the crackle?)

Is this when monitoring from the digi, or built in audio?

try using a different mouse first and seeing if it goes away
