I actually solved the audiophile distortion problem!!!

It was weird. I used DMA buffer 64 and suddendly sound was normal! Don't understand why. Of course there's that pop that comes time to time but NO MORE CRACKLING! Shouldn it be other way around? The smallest buffer setting should make more noice than the highest?!?

But I like to thank all of you guys (still no reply from midiman)! This forum is really great. Let's keep in touch...

..I think I finally start my composing work :)
 
Congratulations! It is great when you finally get the kinks worked out and you can stop being a computer weenie and get back to being a rock-n-roll recording megastar and teen pop idol!

Don't forget professional movie composer also :) :)

I still want to add that Cubase did some of the crackling. I now compose with Logic delta and the sound is much cleaner. First Sb Live and now Cubase. All my old friends are gone :(
 
Sorry I didnt reply sooner...Your problem is that youre using cubase.
