Ok... heres a couple of files that ive just pumped out as somthing to do at 1am in the morning. They were pretty happy with temper temper, but evilangelist they prefered a recording from 6 months ago done using a mic that came free with my computer. Hmmm....

two for the price of one.....how cool.

What do you need man?
Do you want a critique on the music or the recording?
anything in particular?

doesn't sound like a computer mic....are you pulling are leg?
I listened to both tunes and the mixes sound EXTREMELY thin.....
Drums sound live on temper temper...
needs bottom...snare and tom rolls have no balls...
guits are wicked mid-rangey........needs a parametric plateau EQ
no bass on this? or is it just lost in the effects?
performance is decent for the genre....speed metal I would call it...

hope that helps,
Joe

Speed metal eh? :D

Thin is a recurring theme with these recordings, and I'm really not sure why. Guitars... well, the guy who plays it has the following settings on his amp : Bass -10 , Mid +10, Treb -10. And he refuses to change it. And there aint much i can do about that after that terrible EQ setup.

I tried to give drums some oomph, but it ended up being a blurry bassy mess. I've been told I should pan things a bit too... which is probably good advice too.

What I'm looking for is an overall opinion of the songs, and any specific advice you think I might need for the recording side of things. I'm going to do another session with these guys quite soon, so any advice is welcome!
