Hybrid Prog Pop Experiment- Hard to mix...

Ok, the 1st song on this page which was completely improved into parts to fit into a song, it's actually 2 songs in one, hence the name, "Cloud Diver / Run With Me" with all bass parts played by soft synth and real guitars layered (acoustic & electric) with vox sung in 2 octaves.

I tried a variety of effects through the whole song trying to gain contrast for the verse & chorus of the first part. I tried some hi pass on the vocals at first, but I have trouble knowing how much is too much, etc... Did I totally butcher this dern thing or what?!?! I was hoping I could shape it together a bit more in mastering with some compression & limiting (lets not forget BBE Sonic Maximizer DX too). Is there anything recommended?
