I'm getting a freakin headache trying to figure out what & why this is happening when I most need my system to work. As of the past two nights, I've not had one moment where I played any music because I'm dealing with a setup issue that's got me stumped ...
In my Home Studio, I play all the instruments live, into an old Mackie CR1604. Most of my instruments get two channels each L/R except for my Bass, which I assigned only one channel Mono for that out of a Pre-Amp. Ok so then I have the M-Audio Delta-66 which has 4 Ins & Outs. Because I've always had some issues with my sound, playback capabilities & monitoring capabilities, I decided the other day to re-read the Cubase Setup Manual and it tells me that I need to utilize all four inputs & outputs, which I wasn't doing. I've only used 2 ins & 2 outs.
So I connected four lines coming out from 4 Bus Sends going into the 4 Inputs of the 66 and the same for the 4 outs going back into the Board on my return Buses. Then I plugged my new pair of Powered Monitors into the L/R Master Outs. Ok, that's about it .. so now all that's left is to make certain the Control Panel of the Delta configures with that setup and also within Device Manager & my VST Connections. (So I would think)
But all I'm getting is sound coming from my Master Out Left Channel only and NODDA from the Right Channel. I'm stumped and I really need someone to help me because I just ain't getting it.
Can Someone point me in the right direction ?
