It is just sitting and not getting used. I have a Royer 121 and while the HRM-14 is a very good ribbon it isn't as good as the Royer. I figured since there were so many who missed out on the group buy I'd pass it along to someone on HR. It seems the mic is sold but as of yet there is no paypal payment. If payment isn't made soon the mic goes to the next in line which there are 4 people waiting.

I'm kind of surprised no one wants the SE 2000 or the Groove Tubes 5SC. Well except for the guy who offered me 100 bucks for it shipped. The 5SC is a great vocal mic and as I bought more mics it got shoved to the back of the mic cabinet. I actually forgot I had it.

Not sure what you mean by that but the mic is on the way to you sent this morning via priority mail. The mic was first sold to the above poster however when funds did not arrive via paypal ten hours later you were next on the list of 5 people who wanted the mic. When I sent you my info for paypal you paid with in minutes of getting the info. I will PM you the conformation number for the mic. Oh and when I got up early the next morning I had an email notifying me that I had a payment via paypal which I refunded right away.

Yeah, I figured it was something like that. It just seemed like SMC Productions was saying that he also paid for the mic, so I thought maybe he had gone ahead and mistakenly sent the money, not knowing it was already sold.

Glad to hear everything got sorted out. Looking forward to getting the mic!!!

I was ill in bed, and NEVER got an email saying that he had a deadline on the PayPal, when I woke up, that evening (Friday), I immediately sent the funds via PayPal, and didn't find out til Saturday sometimes that he went ahead and sold it to you.

I appoligize but the email from paypal didn't show up until 12:43 AM which was well after midnight. I can't tell you how many times I've been told I'll take it and payment is never sent and I'm not saying this about you but generaly speaking. Since you requested my info for paypal I assumed you'd send payment soon after I sent you the info. Unfortunately that didn't happen and when I found you did send payment early the next morning I refunded the fund to you.

There were 5 other people wanting to buy the mic and 37 points was next in line. I sent him my paypal info and he made payment within minutes. Sorry you were ill and had you said so in your email I would have waited. If I had another it would be yours but I only bought one.

Sorry about that, SMC. I guess that's the only bad thing about not doing business in person; when you're not dealing in "real time", there's always the possibility of a missed call, e-mail, or letter.

But with all the recent crap going on with some bad sales on this board, you definitely can't blame the guy for being overly cautious in his business dealings. I'd probably do the same.
