I am considering buying a HP Pavilion XZ295 to do some location recording. I am concerned because it seems to have a slow hard drive, 4500rpm. I know we all believe 7200 rpm is mandatory, but is with this machine? It is advertised as a machine to do video editing. How can it do video and not be fast enough for audio? Also, it has a front sode bus of 400MHz and 266MHz DDR RAM. Do they do some tricks to make it fast enough and what is everybody's opinion on this machine?
