first time mixing, how does it sound? Have had good comments from friends, and people at work. Now for the real criticism from strangers...........

Sounds good.
Don't like the cymbals much though.
Is there a lot of midi/synth stuff going on? The instruments sound interesting & effective but not very real. Not that that's an entirely bad thing.

the guitars are real, I played with the sound a lot, used a lot of effects. I was trying to go for a different sound than the usual mainstream metal. One thing I really nailed head on was the fact that I wanted it to be an "in your face" sound with the guitars. I like to let the guitars carry the tune, I guess its my style. Thanks for the reply..
