How would you improve these drums?

This is an early instrumental mix but I wanted to get some opinions on the drum track before I take it any further.
It's half looped, half live.
Is it too repetitive?...too boring? too loud?
What would you do to improve on it?

Well Schmange... since nobody else has any comments... I just wanna say that this is the best darned music I've ever heard in my life. No really!!
The mix...the sound...the song. All of it is absolutely amazing.

Listening on the cans . . .

This sounds pretty damn cool. I love them. If you're fishing for criticism, I guess I could say they get slightly repetitive, but that's kind of the style of the music, though, isn't it?

I'd throw a couple of backwards cymbal crashes just for fun, but that's just me -- I like shit like that.

Nice job. I'm feeling like I'm in a trance - like meditative state, and I'm liking it.

I am hearing some diddly-bop 4 stroke and some ghost note diddles on the snare here and there. This would give good transitions from one section to another. The base rhythm itself is complex and tasty.
