How to use my dualfex pro

I just got the behringer dualfex pro and was wondering how to use it when playing back a recording I made. Right now all I know how to do is record with it. I have my vamp hooked up to the dualfex imputs and then the dualfex hooked up to my firebox. What should I do to use it after a recording has been made?

would I plug the dualfex in the imput of the firebox then go from the output of the firebox to the imput of the dualfex?

Well, I dont know anything about firebox, but I use my dualfex on sub group inserts for a drum kit, it works better than a maximizer for phattening up the sound.
