I and my brother just installed it, but I really have no Idea how to use it. I'm not even sure it works with Digidesign RTAS (I'm using PTLE)

I probably should have asked this in the mixing/mastering forum, but it really seems like a silly problem. :o

Help please:(

I'm not an expert on digidesign stuff (or mic modelers for that matter), but I've used Antares with Cubase.

It should work like any other plugin. You should see a screen that shows the source and destination mic drop down selections (and some other options like tube overdrive, etc.). The source is the mic you used to record with, and the destination is the mic you want it to sound like.

My guess is that if you're not seeing it grouped with the other effect plugins, that it's not compatible with RTAS, or the install didn't take.

I think you're right

I went to the website and they do make one for RTAS, but I think I got the one for Direct X.

Wow. Sorry to hear that man - hope you're not stuck with it. Worst comes to worst, you may be able to use a DX capable WAV editor (pain in the ass, but it'd work).

Good luck.

Thanks

They had some interesting tips on the DUC, but it requires inporting and exporting files back and forth from other audio programs.

I'm not sure I want to bother
