How to solder the connector for a B&O mic?

Hi,
I have recently purchased a BEOMIC 2000 from Bang & Olufsen. But I don't know how to solder the connector. The mic came with the original connector unsoldered, a standard guitar connector. But as you can see on the picture the cable has two cords and a shield. Does anyone know how to solder them? Can I connect an XLR to the cable? It's a ribbon mic.
