My studio I am building is nice and big, but the wiring is a disaster.

It has 2 dimmer lights !

a celing fan !

and I believe alll 5 outlets on on the same curcuit !

What are some tips to reduce hum, for instance, keep dimmers off and so on,

Please help : (

I'd get the lights on their own circuit and your studio mains on their own circuit. In my place, I didn't daisey chain the wall outlets one to another. They're all home run to the breaker box so as to acheive a "star" grounding set up. This to slow down ground loops. A line conditioner on the mains can take noise down a few more notchs.

crack open the breaker box...... install new circuits for the gear. No more than 3 outlets per 15amp (check local code).
