How to record?

I just quit with a band and now I want to record a CD with only my own idea's, but I would like to know if anyone could tell me what sort of equipment I need to record?

Can anyone tell me?

Read this forum a lot....then ask questions.....there are so many damn ways you can go about it....
 
Assuming you have a computer......

A microphone and a cable.

Of course, you could get a little more elaborate.....
