This is literally the most amazing sound effect I have ever heard. I am wondering what it would take to record it? The sound is a 3D sound at 0:07 in the video and at 0:20.

Are you sure you have the spot right? That was the least 3D sounding to me.

Ok, yeah, it sounded cool but there was another sample added during it spread way to the right. I didn't find it so interesting. Depth of perspective is a strange thing I suppose. Most everything else on that audio seemed to have more depth than that one you asked about. But I am not a gamer so I guess I am not the one to even give an opinion here... Sorry if I wasted your time with a response.

That's just a heavily reverbed faux footstep - two different types. How is that the most amazing thing you've ever heard? Like Jimmy said, are you sure you've got the time marker right? And yes, I am wearing headphones.
The way more interesting sounds before 7 secs and at about 27s secs are things that any decent synthesizer could do.
