How to record song for YAMAHA Disklavier?

My Dad is looking at a Yamaha Disklavier (Piano) to purchase, and we were wondering if there is any software that would let us convert MIDI files that we made into the special Disklavier format that plays the piano sound by striking the actual keys instead of just playing sounds through the speakers?

Well, yeah, I know they can play regular MIDI files, but I thought there was some special software - you know, all those CDs you can buy - for the Disklavier to "play by itself" ... it's really cool to watch those keys when no one is playing -- looks like a Ghost player or something! :)

Maybe I'll call Yamaha and ask...

I believe they will play the keys using any standard midi file. I haven't messed with the Yamahas that much but I used to sell some other brands that had a similar system and they worked like that. Throw a midi file onto a floppy or CD (whatever they use now) and take it into the dealer and see if it works.
