Greetings to everyone,

I currently have fruityloops 3.56 and Wave lab 3 for sound editing. And, I recently downloaded a Vst Synth NI FM7 demo. I'd like to know if it's possible to record a note sample in wave format?

You probably ask me why I bother to do this while I can do much more by using FM7 within fruity. My answer is for now I think it's easier for ME to work with a sample in wave file than using FM7.

if the answer is yes I can record a note sample from FM7, please advice me how and any other programs that I need to have this done.

Thank you all for your help.

Good weekend, everyone!

If you are running the sound blaster drivers you can select "What you hear" or 'Wave" in the windows mixer and Soundforge should record the Synth as it plays. Then you just need to edit the file.

Search online (try Shareware Music Machine) for a program named Total Recorder.

Thanks Tex and Doug for your help.

@ Tex, I'll try what you adviced me. probably I'll be bugging you again if I have problems, hope ya don't mind :)

@ Doug, doing a search right now.

thanks guys! H.
