Hi all,

I'm newby in this forum. I'm sorry if the section is not appropriate.
I'm confident somebody here can help me please.
I'm using Nuendo 3.2.

My need is:
Track 1: Playback
Track 2: Record

The audio played back from track 1 should be recorded on track 2.
How can I do it please ?

Thank you very much

I don't understand why you would want to 'route' it. Just copy it to track two.

Hi Jimmy69,

What I would like to do is:
Track 1: while is played back, the track is also "modified" by a plug-in (fore effects and so on).
The track2, will have the "effected" track1.
Is that possible ?

Thank you very much

I'm not familiar with Nuendo (expensive). The way I would do it in Cubase is to export the file with effects, then import to the new track.

You could always just duplicate the track and put the effects only on that one.

Something seems pretty obvious here troops................

I know, but in this case the the plug-in uses too many resources from my PC (it's quite old one) and it goes in overload.

and if I want to stop the plug in effect during the playback of the track 1 and to reinsert it, I think (please correct me if i wrong) there is not other way then to playback the track 1 and to record it on track2.

Am I wrong? Or is it another possibility ?
Thank you very much

To open up your PC's resources, you will need to either print (export) or freeze the channel so that the effect is not actually running. There is no way to record directly within the software without using an interfaces out/in's.

I use Nuendo too, you can't do that......you need to export the first track and then import it again, thats the only way you can do it

You mean that someone that seemingly spent nearly $2500 on an audio program doesn't have any freaking idea how to bounce a track?

And he spent it 4-5 years ago when Nuendo 3 was actually for sale. They are getting ready to roll out Nuendo 6...

Sorry I read now your comments about me.

Well: I didn't know that just to asking some information, I could start heavy discussions on my person and/or matter to joke with.

I'm sorry if I "disgusted you" and if I disturbed with my question/curiosity such "gods" that have not more questions or "stupid questions" as mine one in their life.

At this point, ask to some moderator to delete this thread I opened and to delete also my account. I wouldn't want to disturb anybody.

LMAO

Sensitive this one is... LOL

I think you are missing the point - being that it appears you pirated some expensive software... There is free and inexpensive software out there. No one said anything about being disgusted - but we do not promote piracy from the software vendors that make our recording possible...

Arrrrgh! I am a feisty pirate who desires not to offend otherrrrrrrz with my pillaging. I shall walk the plank myself. Arrrghh!

I got the Dave in me....I got the Dave in me...I got the David in me!!!!!!

Hold on I have to finish peeing in the corner over here ..... wait for the shake ..... there ..... What! Stolen software?

Could be like all of the other youngens' these days and refuses to READ THE MANUAL!
If not and he swiped it ~ off with his head!

Jimmy cracked p.o.r.n., and I don't care...........Crackin software,........... I pee pee on wee pirates. Wait til your bounty catches up wit yer booty.

Damn, I just became my father....Vader? He didn't steal software!

Dave, my brother, will show the infidel the way..

Jedi mind control .....These are not the softwares that you are searching for.

What just happened? I feel suddenly.......at peace......ahhh.....

Thank you H!

It does come across as suspect so...

When a guy (not this guy but it happens) asks "Hey, I have Nuendo. Can someone tell me what a bus is for and how to use reverb?"

You do kinda think nobody would spend $1500 for music software who doesn't' already know that stuff, unless of course they're a trust fund baby. That happens also I suppose. More often than not it's a kid with cracked "pro" software trying to figure out what's what.

It's not all cracks though. I once saw a guy with a $2000 preamp asking questions about gain staging his recorded signals through it. :D "Cart before the horse" as it were...
