how to monitor the track being recorded?

I just installed a Delta44. Also have a SB live installed. I set a track to record using the Delta input and playback using the SB. Recording and playback are fine individually but DURING the recording I can only hear the tracks that are not being recorded. When I was recording with the SB live it let me hear what I was recording, is this possible with the delta/sb combination?

I've had the same problem and gave up trying to fix it.
I just use my 4 track monitor mix and run the sound card line out into that and mix it with whatever I'm recording. Just check the CEP line in record levels and do a few test runs. In other words: You can hear you and CEP can hear you but you can't hear CEP hearing you. But you must make sure that CEP into the monitor mix is not going back into CEP record mix.
