I am attempting to take a wireless Audio Technica (600 series with a ATM35cw mic) in to a digital delay pedal and back to the board. What is the best way to do this? These are my thoughts..

Recievers output is an unbalanced 1/4
Digital delay is a DD3 1/4 in and out
The board is not mine. I know it has XLR and I'm guessing 1/4

Should I:

1) Run a patch cord from the AT output to the DD3, then another to the board? (4 total connections)

2) Run a patch cord from the DD3 then convert from high impedence to XLR? (5 total connections) converting from a mono 1/4 to a balanced style for the XLR would be the added connection.

What is the best way to do this?
