How to insert a whole song part?

WIth Sonar, how can I insert a new part to a song so that all the tracks will be displaced rather than overlapped? Pushed over a few bars, nahimean? I am not one for manuals even though this is probably a pretty simple operation, so I thought I would ask.

Your going to have try a little harder. That's an easy one.

Assuming you have a bunch of tracks and you want to cut them at some measure, say measure 10, and insert 4 more measures for something else this is how you do it:

1) Set the Now Time where you want to insert the measures.

2) Select all the tracks.

3) hit the "s" key. That will split all the tracks at the Now Time.

4) Go to: Insert > Time/Measure and put in whatever you want.

Simple, painless. Sonar has a really good Help tool. One should give it a try. You will be supprised how ofter it will quickly answer your questions.
