How to hook it up?

I have a little Eurorack MX 602 A Behringer mixer.
I have been using it to go into my Soudblaster card.
Just bought a delta audiophile 2496 and will install it this weekend

I"m really new to this stuff and know this is a newbie question but didn't get an answer there.

I'm going straight into the mixer with guitar, bass, with effects and Mic.

I have been using the main out to go into the sound blaster with and adapter down to 1/8 in. However the Audiophile 2496 has RCA jacks, and of S/PDIF inputs that at present I have nothing to plug into.

On the mixer I have a tape out and a tape in (RCA jacks) can I go from the tape out to the souncard in, then go from the souncard out back into the tape in, and then monitor from the headphone plug in on the mixer.

I will not have monitors for another month but want to work with headphones in the meantime. Then can't I go from the main out to the monitors.

My gosh I have thoroughly confused myself!!!
But maybe someone will have pity on me.

You can go....

Mixer OUT to soundcard IN.

Soundcard OUT to mixer IN.

But you have to make sure you do not create a loop.

If the mixer's main outs are 1/4" jack plugs you can get a cable with 1/4" jacks on one end and RCAs on the other end. Does the mixer manual have any diagrams of how to use it in it? They can be useful.
