How to get this guitar sound...?

What guitar? That sounds like someone humming into a comb covered in wax paper recorded though 2 tin cans and a piece of string.
 
I wasn't going to listen until I saw ocnor's reply! My guess is one of those $99 guitar-and-amp packages from Best Buy! Bad pickups, small speaker distortion.
 
Distorted guitar> eq boost to highs> compress until squished flat.
 
Nice one, thanks guys haha. It's a cool sound...bit of reverb on the acoustic as well?
