I have a pc running on windows vista 32 bit. Im ready to start recording. I have a Key board, a mic, and sonar 8. Now what will i need to start recording properly?

an audio interface, a preamp for your mic, and cables to plug your mic and keyboard into your interface/preamp.

I have audacity and a desktop mic. You can download audacity free just google it. And yea just start recording I guess you will learn as you go. sony acid music studio 7 is another one I think you can get for free. here is a link
