how to get one midi device to play another?

I'm new to midi so any help will be greatly appricated.........
I am trying to get a certain keyboard sound from my boss dr rythm section unit to play on my keyboard......in other words, when I play the keyboard live, I want it to have the keyboard sound that is stored in my boss dr rythm section unit.....how do I hook this up with the midi ins and outs???

You can use MIDI cable to connect keyboard MIDI out to Boss DR MIDI in.

I'm not familiar with Boss DR (and what's your keyboard anyway?), but after that physical connection, you must look for MIDI channel assignment setting on both devices. Sync them ( eg. both set to ch. 1 for regular sound, or ch.10 for drum sound).
