Hi,

I posted here before asking if the Echo Mia could record 4 in simultaneously, I got a yes for answer. Now I read the manual and I don't see such an option. There is 2 balanced 1/4 ins and one digital S/PDIF in. I guess that is where I should buy a wire that can give me 2 more ins from the digital input.

Can someone tell me how to do such a thing?

You would need something that would convert from analog to digital coax. Or, if you have something that normally pumps out digital. The Mia does do 4 in 4 out. Just 2 in 2 out are analog and 2 in 2 out are digital. If you have digital output gear, great. Just hook it up. If you don't and you want to use other stuff simultaneously, you need an A-D (analog-digital) converter. It's not just a wire. It's a piece of hardware that is not an insignifcant amount of change.

Bit late now I know, but if you want 4 analog inputs you need something like the M Audio delta 44
