Ok dudes I got an M-Box mini. 1 line input, one mic preamp. Is there any way I can use another I/O box, or like an HUI board or anything to get more inputs into protools?

No. You got exactly what you paid for as advertised. Buy a mixer to get multi inputs but still only able to record the single channel into PT.

If you want more inputs for Pro-Tools, buy an interface with more inputs.

Actually, as stated, the Mbox mini is a 2 channel interface. Channel 1 can be configured to accept an XLR mic or a 1/4" line input. Channel 2 is just a 1/4" line in. If you use a cheap 2 channel preamp, such as the Audio Buddy, DMP-3 or whatever, then you get 2 channels. And that is where the buck stops, unless you want to use a mixer and submixes. So solly, Shaq, but it is not helpful to ask,"is there a way to do this?", and then bust somebody's balls because you don't like the fact that the answer is-No. You're frustrated because you don't have enough money to buy all the gear you need, or want. There's a lot of that going around.-Richie

Anyways there is a way and I found out by talking to someone who isnt so quick say "NO YOU GOT WHAT YOU PAID FOR". I mean seriously what kind of jerk is that? First off there is a way, and second off I stole my danm M-box mini, do you think I would pay money for a 1 xlr input interface?

I was about to ask you to count the difference (in years) between your real age and your mental age, but that would be quite cruel as I get the feeling that you would lose count once you got to around 3 or 4...
