more of my question is
i'm lil disappointed or maybe i don't know the right way to use it
my comp is P166,64megRAM,10GIG cake7 but still feel it dragging CPU?
i change source to none and port to GINA1,2 for 8audiotracks around 3minutes after did realtime mixing with cake reverb, the s/w seemed to
go out of hand and closed!
have to save every audio tracks into wave to avoid this
any suggestion please
thnx
istyle

i been using it like this at cakewalk7
choose none and gina1/2 as source and can record audio up to 8tracks only
i wonder whatabout gina3/4,...how can i use them?
or am i using it right?
i felt the way i did is not pushing gina to its limit!
thnx www.mp3.com/istyle

Hello again.

Full duplex doesn't mean you are playing out of more than one port or using "all" your ports or anything like that.

It refers to the ability of a sound card to Record from a source and then play another already record track or group of tracks at the same time.

If you have no need to playback more than a single stereo pair at a time then don't worry about if you are "doing it right".

As far as your earlier question about "Easy trim", it sounds like you are using the easy trim incorrectly. You want to turn "EAsy trim" on, Play your source into the Gina, and after it has played the loudest part of the song, then turn the Easy trim OFF. This will select your input volume for you. I find that I usually then lower it about 2 or 3 dBs. If you do this, your wav files will be nice and loud.

If you leave the Easy TRim ON, then you have lowered the input volume and you get wimpy sounding recordings. The manual people!!

thnx my gina doesn't have easytrim i look at srun32 advancebox,it has no easytrim box as in manual only one box saying 1solo

If you installed you Gina's drivers properly, there should be a big "G" in the taskbar section. Don't used the little speaker icon, use the "G"

Jeff

yes i clicked onG and at its advancebox it has only one space for 1solochannel in place of easytrim as the manual claimed
