how to disarm a lightbulb

this is work in progress (45% so far), with most of the melodies, percussions and transitions missing. thought that this one would be a no-brainer, but i really have a hard time to get the things smoothly together. maybe some ideas from my fellow friends might be helpful....link will be frequently updated

The orchestral section at the start, and then the following drum beat phrase don't really merge like I would have expected them to. As you say, the transitions sound difficult and for me the two styles need to overlap and crescendo more.
The cymbal roll in to the mellow section sounds like an entirely new track.
Maybe there are too many ideas in such a short piece? I think either it needs to be much longer to have enough time to evolve, or needs to be broken up into two or three different tracks (which could be consecutive and flow together?).
The transition from mellow back into the pulsing kick which runs to the end sounds really nice though!
